Battle on the golf fields of Lappeenranta

Over the 7th & 8th of August  the inaugural  `Golden Swing Match Play` event took place at Kahilanniemi Golf Course, Lappeenranta, Finland.
The first day saw the competitor’s battle out a round robin league format where the top player in each league progressed to the final day knock out stage, those not qualifying went automatically into a Shoot-Out Tournament also on the 8th.  
After a very close final match it came to the last putt on the final green which saw Andrey Lukianov take victory from 2nd place Alexander Shapiro. Henry Ruokonen came in third in the runners up match and Andrey Bashkirov won the Shoot-Out Tournament. A great time had by all competitors, we look forward to the next tournament to be arranged in the near future!
