European Tour Player Rafa Echenique at Golden Swing La Herreria

            European Tour player Rafa Echenique, from Argentina, paid a visit to the Golden Swing La Herreria Golf Academy for a lesson with Head Professional Martin Cummins. Martin worked with Rafa for two years when he worked on the European Tour full time, and during that time Rafa enjoyed his most successful period on tour including his memorable second place in the BMW International Open, when he completed the last nine holes in an amazing 26 shots. 

            Rafa has been struggling with his putting this year so he decided it was time to visit Martin to get himself back on the right track. Martin commented  ‘It was good to see Rafa, and I think we have found some solutions to some of his issues on the greens. We have put a plan in place and when he returns I’m sure it will be with good news!!’

             Rafa was also very impressed with the facilities at Golden Swing La Herreria Golf Academy, and says that he will be recommending that other tour players use the facility to practice, and get lessons. One other player has already been in contact.
