In the Under 18 Championships the fifteen year old firstly produced rounds of 70 and 73 for a one under par total to finish third in the individual strokeplay championships, and help England become top seeds for the matchplay stages.

Georgia then produced a series of quality performances to help England to the final of the European Championships, where they narrowly lost to France 4-3.
During the matchplay stages Georgia beat several high class opponents, including the German Girls Champion, and Junior Ryder Cup player Manon Gidali, of France, in the final.

until_2.jpgHer coach, Head Professional of Golden Swing La Herreria Academy Martin Cummins, was delighted with her performance. He said ‘During the winter Georgia and I have worked hard on raising the level of her short game and this is starting to pay dividends. She has always been strong in her long game, but now she is showing she can score well on any course regardless of the conditions, and style.

The facilities and coaching here at La Herreria really give players a chance move their performance to a new level’.
Next for Georgia is the English Under 15’s Championships, where she is defending champion after blowing the field away last year with a six shot victory.
